This Tuesday night, March 30th, America's top TV news documentary series, PBS-TV's "Frontline", will air an expose' and analysis of the global response to Haiti's disastrous earthquake -- by far the worst human catastrophe in the history of the Western Hemisphere.
Haitians are forced to settle for nothing more than plastic tarps, for shelter from rainstorms and eventual hurricanes. No land made available, and inept aid agencies, make even tents a fantasy few will get before being soaked for months.
Thousands of volunteers packed over a MILLION meals, this weekend -- in Chicago suburb, Elgin -- to help Numana and the Salvation Army feed Haiti's earthquake survivors.
Here's an idea for simple, easy idea to shelter Haitians quickly, with existing resources. Authorities say Haitians are not going to get enough tents, and maybe not even enough tarps, to house them before hurricane season blows in (late spring).
